Use this tool to generate the encrypt password that use to protect a directory or selects files within it on your site via .htaccess. It encrypts the desired passwords, then outputs the corresponding codes to put inside your .htaccess and .htpasswd files.

Once generated, you'll need to add it, along with any username to your .htpasswd file in the following format:
