Electric Current and Electrons Flow

Electric Current Vs Electrons Flow:

Electrons Flow:
The current in the circuit is actually composed of electrons flowing from the negative pole of the battery (Cathode) and return to the positive pole (Anode) of the battery.

Electric Current:
By convention, the direction of electric current is the direction that positive charges would move. Therefore the current in the circuit is moving away from the positive pole (Anode) and toward the negative pole (Cathode) of the battery.

Conclustion:
It makes no difference which way current is flowing since it does not affect what the current does.
